Focus

Focusing is about saying NO.

– Steve Jobs

Saying YES is much harder than most of us assume – a strong YES grounds in A LOT of NOs.

Steve Jobs allegedly was very proud of all the things he decided NOT to do – and in the meanwhile (after years and years and years) I am starting to understand why.

Of course, in the beginning,

no one will be able to see the beauty of your NOs,

but

the quality of what you and your company will be perceivable.

Everything you do will appear to be so much clearer, so much more intentional than if you do just everything that comes to mind. This effect also accounts for marketing and the various possibilities of digital marketing, too.

Allow yourself NOT to do everything and be everywhere – instead choose some places/channels that fit your offer and your target groups (of course, we can help with the choosing :)) .

As the owner of agency „OVERW8“ and building on more than 20 years experience in marketing, Kristin is consistently thinking along the terms of ‚customer value‘, ‚brand value‘ as well as business models. Consistently meaning when she’s out for dinner, sitting in a cosy ski hut as well as having a sundowner wine at a vineyard. Like this, it’s simple logic that her primary job now is to support entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial teams with this know-how to create more brand value, more customer value and thus more company value. She’s sharing some of these nuggets here on OVERW8’s blog.
